Hello! I’m Lena. Welcome to my writing website and higher calling—to carry the message of hope, healing, and recovery. I was a depressed, lost soul, and through the help of others, I found a new model of living that has profoundly changed my life for the better. I am indebted to those who guided me and were driven to pay it forward. The purpose of this space is to encourage others to look within, to help those suffering from loneliness, restlessness, and discontent, and to aid those struggling with anxiety, anger, fear, depression, addiction, trauma, mental illness, and suicidal ideation. I believe that when we honestly look at our behaviors, thoughts, feelings, and belief systems—and work with them—we can alleviate the causes of our suffering and bring joy and happiness.

LET'S CONNECT

A New Method for Healing

HeartSync believes that any persistent separation between and within a person’s heart, soul, mind, and spirit (emotional and spiritual captivity that prevents the resolution of conflicting beliefs and the effects of pain and trauma) prevents a consistent joyful connection with God and others. Healing isn’t just about rebuking the demons and being labeled demon-possessed. The concept of brain synchronization, or normal integrative functions between different areas of the brain, highlights the brain’s ability to do more things at a time and is evidenced in the Core Parts often holding other aspects of memory, which can be divided into Cognitive Memory, Emotional Memory, and Body Memory. HeartSync believes in critical development in the inner healing world. Instead of guessing, we can now intentionally engage and work with each Core Part to resolve their conflicts and spiritual assignments and bring them into a wholehearted loving relationship with the Lord. The Core Function of the heart communicates with the Guardian Part of the left side of the brain through the Core Function. The brain is where we use logic, analytic thinking, linear reasoning, and verbal reasoning. A person’s reasoning and belief systems are located on the left side of the brain.

A person’s True Self, or Emotion Part, is firmly linked to the right side of the brain. A person’s knowledge and feelings are processed in the brain’s right hemisphere. The right side of the brain is more visual and nonverbal, but first, let me tell you what’s in the brain that is referred to as the 4 Core Parts of the brain:

True Self The essence of the Self, which is the heart

Function Part Does the daily functioning of life and believes that knowing specific information about my history is incompatible with survival and functioning.

Guardian Part Thinks that the Emotion and Function parts of the heart need to be kept separate, or the Function part will be too busy to do daily tasks.

Emotion Part It is most closely connected to unresolved negative emotion and depression and often is the part that holds historical pain and trauma.

I found a church that recognizes mental illness, and they have a program called HeartSync that helps people like me. They said DID is not an illness. God’s gift is to help me survive and cope with traumas. The multiple personalities are referred to as my “Parts.” I am the True Self part living in the present time, and whenever there is a traumatic situation, a Part take control, but that part is held in captivity, trapped in a time of their traumas in the past. The primary trouble within my Mind is that not all know who God is. I applied what I knew from HeartSync for my healing. I learned I can now intentionally engage and systematically work with each of my Parts to resolve their conflicts and spiritual assignments and bring them into a wholehearted loving relationship with God. With the peaceful Mind, the bridge of harmony that needs to be established between my Parts will lead me, the True Self, to the ultimate goal of life: love and happiness.
